This is the first time that the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum has left the United States, with Barcelona the chosen city given the strong ties which the Catalan capital has with sport in general, and tennis in particular.

Throughout the duration of the exhibition, which runs until 30 April, the organisations involved will be staging a number of initiatives, including in particular:

  • Weekly draw of 5 pairs of tickets to the first round of the finals of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell 2014 – 62nd Conde de Godó Trophy among the visitors to the exhibition.

  • Visits by Olympic athletes and global tennis figures.

  • Tennis academy visits.

  • Seminars, courses and presentations involving the organisations taking part.

  • During the Conde de Godó Tournament, a trip to the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum in the United States will be given out as a prize.
