The Joan Antoni Samaranch Olympic and Sports Museum has hosted the commemorative event marking the 25th anniversary of Spain’s first Davis Cup title.
During the event, Àlex Corretja, Albert Costa and Joan Balcells have recalled the historic victory achieved alongside Juan Carlos Ferrero at the Palau Sant Jordi, highlighting teamwork and the significance of Barcelona as the venue of that achievement.
The event has been attended by David Escudé, Councillor for Sports of the Barcelona City Council and President of the Sports Area of the Barcelona Provincial Council; César Thovar, Territorial Delegate of the Secretariat General for Sports; and Jordi Tamayo, President of the Catalan Tennis Federation.
