Do you want to know what happened that summer of ’92?

The Barcelona ’92 Olympics changed the city and its neighbors. Do you want to know how that summer of 1992 came about?

In commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the 1992 Barcelona Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Museu Olímpic wants to remember how the city changed as a result of its preparations to host the most important sporting event that this country has hosted.

Advance reservation required

We invite you to enter this family workshop with Hall Escape methodology, adapted to share different generations of families: parents, grandparents and children the history of Barcelona through sport.

We will discover how the city changed, the technology, who were the protagonists, among others.

Tips and good practices

Below you’ll find a series of recommendations to help you enjoy your visit.

Punctuality

It’s necessary to arrive 10 minutes before your visit time, since the activity may be cut short if it begins late.

Meeting point

For all types of visit, the meeting point is located in the museum reception. The team leader just needs to come in and the visit will then begin.

Lockers

Backpacks and luggage must be left in the lockers provided by the museum’s reception team.

Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is available in all rooms of the museum.

Food & Drinks

Entrance with food or drinks is not allowed.

Teaching staff

Teaching staff are responsible for the safety and control of the group throughout the visit.

Behaviour

Running, making noise and touching exhibited material in the museum are not permitted.

Special needs

If any student has special requirements, these must be communicated in advance.

Access with animals

Access to the museum with animals is not permitted, with the exception of guide dogs.

Accessibility

The museum is fully accessible and has wheelchairs available for visitors who may require them.

Photography

Camera use is allowed within the rooms of the museum.

Coaches

There is a parking zone for coaches at Passeig Olímpic, 16.
