A cultural team trivia organized by five Barcelona museums. Actor and comedian ALBERTE MONTES, cuplé singer, presenter and social activist BRIGITTA LAMOURE, and actress and musician MARIA ROSA will be the quizmasters of this very special edition.
The Museum Quiz Summer Tour celebrates its tenth anniversary this year with an edition that will bring together, for the first time, all five organizing museums in one major event. To mark a decade of summer nights filled with play, culture and fun, fifty teams and three quizmasters will share a festive evening in an exceptional edition.
The Museum Quiz has spent 10 years establishing itself as one of the most participatory and beloved cultural events in Barcelona’s summer calendar. Each edition has brought together more than 80 teams and over 400 participants, building a loyal community and generating countless memorable moments around games and culture. Furthermore, the project has gone beyond leisure by incorporating a solidarity dimension, raising funds for the NGO Proactiva Open Arms.
The Museu d’Arqueologia de Catalunya, the Museu de Ciències Naturals. Jardí Botànic de Barcelona, the Museu Marítim de Barcelona, the Museu Olímpic i de l’Esport and the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona once again join forces to present the tenth edition of the Museum Quiz Summer Tour.
The activity is inspired by the British pub quiz format, the popular team-based question-and-answer contests that have become an international phenomenon. Adapted to the museum context, the game consists of three rounds of ten questions of similar difficulty to a trivia game, some of which are related to the themes of the participating museums.
Questions are answered in writing and hosted by the quizmasters. On this occasion, Alberte Montes, Brigitta Lamoure and Maria Rosa will be in charge of leading a session that takes place in a relaxed and participatory atmosphere. All proceeds from the bar service will go to the NGO Proactiva Open Arms.
To take part, participants must be over 18 years old and register in teams of between four and six people. Each team must choose their own name. Registrations will open on Wednesday 10 June at 11.00 am and can be completed via this link: https://linktr.ee/museumquiz.
