From 25/11/2025 to 07/06/2026
Temporary Exhibition Space

Throughout its history, the city of Barcelona has witnessed the birth of numerous sports clubs, emerging from the early days of regulated sports as both a recreational and competitive activity. Many of these organizations, still active today, play a key role in promoting grassroots sports.

In recognition of their valuable contribution, the Barcelona Olympic Foundation seeks to highlight and appreciate the work of these clubs, which play sports an essential part of life in our city.

The temporary exhibition hall of the Juan Antonio Samaranch Olympic and Sports Museum is hosting an exhibition dedicated to Club Esportiu Júpiter. Considered one of the historic football clubs of Barcelona and Catalonia, Club Esportiu Júpiter was founded on May 12, 1909, during a gathering at the emblematic Cervecería Cebrián, now known as El Tío Ché, located on the Rambla del Poblenou.

The Barcelona Olympic Foundation aims to recognize the existence of all clubs and organizations that enable sports practice. To this end, it has developed a program of activities, including the production of an exhibition dedicated to a centennial club.

The exhibition is free with entrance to the museum
