The Olympic and Sports Museum Joan Antoni Samaranch hosted the official presentation of the Challenge Barcelona Triathlon 2025. The event featured a prominent panel including David Escudé, Sports Councillor of the Barcelona City Council; Jort Vlam, CEO of Challenge Family; Eloi Moragues, Race Director of Challenge Barcelona Triathlon; and elite athletes Guillem Montiel, newly crowned European Middle Distance Champion, and Laura Gómez, who placed fourth in the European Championships.
The key highlight of the event was the announcement of the new Middle Distance race, marking a major milestone for the event and reinforcing Barcelona’s status as a premier triathlon destination. The race will take place on Sunday, October 26, 2025.
