The Olympic Museum renews its tourism sustainability certification for the sixth consecutive year

The Olympic and Sports Museum Joan Antoni Samaranch has renewed its certification for the sixth consecutive year within Barcelona’s Tourism Sustainability Commitment program, reinforcing its dedication to responsible management aligned with environmental and social values.

This renewal is part of the recognition granted to nearly 1,200 organizations and companies in Barcelona for their good practices in sustainable tourism במסגרת the Barcelona Tourism Sustainability Commitment program. This year, a total of 1,198 certifications have been awarded, including 1,077 renewals and 121 new participants.

The program, promoted by the Barcelona City Council and the Barcelona Provincial Council, in collaboration with the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and the Barcelona Tourism Consortium, aims to foster responsible tourism aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

With this sixth consecutive renewal, the Olympic Museum reaffirms its role as a cultural institution committed to sustainability, actively contributing to positioning Barcelona as a leading destination in environmental responsibility, accessibility, and positive social impact.
