Catalan snowboarder Jordi Font Ferrer visits the Olympic Museum as consultant for the Ski and Snow section.

2006, on his first attempt in the boardercross discipline, his fourth place earned him an Olympic diploma. Jordi competed with a dislocated shoulder, an injury he suffered a few days earlier in training when a teammate fell on top of him.

His trophy cabinet reflects various Spanish championship wins in the giant slalom and dual disciplines, while he also claimed fourth place in the 2002 World Cup held in Valle Nevado in Chile.

Font boasts the third-best result in the history of the Winter Olympics by the Spanish delegation, surpassed only by the siblings Paco and Blanca Fernández – Ochoa, who claimed gold at Sapporo 72 and bronze at Albertville 92, respectively. These remain to date the only two Winter Olympics medals in a skiing discipline.
