Lulama Smuts Ngonyama, South African Ambassador in Madrid, has approached the Olympic Museum to visit the Mandela-AWEPA space.

Lulama Smuts, on an official visit with AWEPA Spain, met with Josep Maldonado, President of AWEPA Spain, visited the Olympic Museum to see the space dedicated to Nelson Mandela, a childhood friend of Lulama.

This space is a tribute to Nelson Mandela, who received the AWEPA human dignity award in 2007 and who used sport as an element of integration and for promoting equality in the fight against apartheid in South Africa.
