Maite Fandos, President of the Barcelona Olympic Foundation, and Jaume Mora, President of the CEEB (Barcelona School Sport Council) sign a partnership agreement with the aim of promoting and publicising sporting values among young school students.

The FBO, the body which manages the Olympic and Sport Museum, and the CEEB, responsible for the sporting activity of more than 40,000 school students in Barcelona, have established a series of initiatives in order to bring young people into closer contact with sporting values.

Both the FBI and the CEEB are committed to sport as an instrument for education. By playing sport young people assimilate values such as teamwork, solidarity, fair play and equality among individuals. Spaces such as the Mandela-AWEPA, recently opened at the Olympic Museum, or the area dedicated to environmental initiatives, provide a focus of interest for the training of young people. Because sport entails many other facets beyond physical development. Facets which are promoted and addressed at the facilities managed by the FBO, the Museum and the Joan Antoni Samaranch Olympic Study Centre.
