Since the start of the school year children in the various year groups at Miquel Bleach School have been studying a range of aspects of sport, the Olympic movement and art, as well as the sporting values of fair play, comradeship, etc., connected with the areas of knowledge at primary level.
The latest of these subjects was journalism. For this purpose the students have been able to investigate and study three great sports stars, gymnast Gervasio Deffer, winner of three Olympic medals, swimmer Jessica Vall, world championship 200 m bronze medallist, and young Barça basketball small forward Álex Abrines. All of them enjoyed an educational day conducted by the Tv3 presenter Jordi Gil in which endeavour, achievement, hard work and enjoying what you do were the main lessons of the day.
