The Barcelona Olympic Foundation collaborates in the exhibition “Bicycle and Society. From 1817 to 1960”, a display that offers a journey through the history of the bicycle from its origins to the first half of the 20th century.
The exhibition brings together a collection of more than sixty pieces from different periods, allowing visitors to discover the evolution of the bicycle and understand the key role its emergence has played in society.
Through this historical journey, the exhibition highlights the bicycle not only as a means of transport, but also as an element of social and cultural transformation over time.
The exhibition will take place at the Gothic Courtyard of the Barcelona City Hall, and can be visited from 26 June to 6 July.
