The conference “Puig Women’s America’s Cup 2024. Great events in the city of Barcelona” is part of the cycle of conferences “The value of sport in the 21st century” and has been held at the Olympic Museum of Barcelona. This event has been broadcast live on the youtube channel of the Barcelona Olympic Foundation – Olympic Museum.
David Escudé, president of the Barcelona Olympic Foundation and councillor for sports, opened the day highlighting the importance of these sessions to address current issues in the field of sports with professionals in the sector and promote direct interaction with citizens. Maria Teresa Samaranch, member of the board of trustees of the Barcelona Olympic Foundation, was also present at the event.
The conference, coordinated by TV3 journalist Jordi Fandi lao, included interventions by leading figures from the world of sailing:

‘ Elisenda Vives, president of the Equality Commission of the Catalan Sailing Federation.
. Carlota Artigas, marketing manager of the America’s Cup of Sailing.
